Great Communicator: How to Improve Your English Speaking Skills
Improving your English speaking skills is a life-changing experience. It can impact your chances of getting interviews, earning a promotion, or simply meeting new people and socializing.
Apart from the benefits of engaging in a new language and culture, it’s also very beneficial for career and personal development. Personally and professionally, we’re all stronger when we communicate in more than one language and culture.
Learning English as an adult may seem overwhelming and frustrating at times because you’ll need to re-learn many ways of communicating with your mouth and mouth muscles, not only how to produce the sounds, but also how to read them on paper. But no matter how difficult it seems, don’t give up! Communicating in English is something you will be glad you did!

Learn sentences instead of words
When you start to feel like this, practice sentences in your head. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. It’s important to practice, practice, practice! It’s all about the practice. Use the Practise, Practice, Practice Method Remember this: if you can’t get it right the first time, you can get it right the second time! Just keep practicing until you get it right. You can get to a point where you know all the words and can speak like a native English speaker, but you’ll still have to practice to get to that point.
There are a few exercises you can use to help you practice your sentences. Find the Verb Find a noun, then find the verb that is most closely related to the noun. For example, if you are learning the verb “be”, you might choose the noun “school”. “School” is the subject of the sentence, so you need to use “be”. This exercise is very useful for getting to the core of the meaning of the sentence. What is the Verb? Remember the word “verb”. For example, the verb “be”. A verb gives the sentence meaning. It tells you what the subject is doing. It’s also a sign of tense. A verb is always in the present tense. For example, “I love” is in the present tense. If you learn the present tense first, it will help you learn the other tenses.
Read the article and think about the word in the sentence. Try to get the meaning of the word.
Read the article again, and use the verb in the sentence. The article will help you find the verb. What is the Subject? Remember the subject is the noun that is doing something. For example, in the sentence “I love my school”, “school” is the subject. It is the noun that is doing the action of “love”. It is the noun that you need to learn.
I’m really poor at English. I just know a little bit about it. hahaha
