How to Make an eCommerce Website with WordPress

A WordPress eCommerce Website is a powerful tool for brands looking to sell their products online. What You Need You will need A WordPress platform; A web hosting account; An FTP client; A domain name; and a Web browser (preferably Google Chrome).

It’s important that you use a secure installation of web hosting when running an eCommerce website, so you should install WordPress on a dedicated server or a virtual server. It’s also important that you use a domain name that is related to your brand. For example, if you’re a makeup brand, you can use your own domain name or purchase a domain name that contains your brand name.

To begin, sign up for a web hosting account that includes an eCommerce plugin, such as WP eCommerce. WP eCommerce is a free plugin that is used to build a simple online store. You can choose to install the plugin on your site or have it installed for you, depending on your hosting service. Once you’ve installed the plugin, log in to your account. Step 1: Adding a Theme

In this example, we’re going to use one of the free themes, WP eCommerce, which has all of the basic elements that you’ll need to start building an online store.

Step 2: Creating an eCommerce Website with WordPress

To create your eCommerce website, click on the Add New button on the left-hand side of the screen. In the search bar, type in WP eCommerce. A list of plugins will appear, and you can click on the WP eCommerce plugin to install it on your site. Once the plugin is installed, you can see the options for your store by clicking on the eCommerce tab. In this tutorial, we’re going to create a simple store with a few items. Click on the Create a Store button.

Step 3: Creating a Simple Store

The WP eCommerce dashboard will open and ask you to choose a store name and a logo for your store.

Step 4: Adding Products

To create a product, click on the Products tab and then click on the Add New button. You can either type in the name of the product, or you can search for the product you want to add by typing in the product name. In this example, we’re going to create a makeup product called “Lipstick.” Click on the Add New button to add a product.

Step 5: Adding a Product to the Product Page

You’ll be taken to a page that allows you to add information about your product. In this tutorial, we’re going to add a few details about our lipstick.

Step 6: Adding the Product to the Shopping Cart

You can now see the products that you’ve added to your store in the Shopping Cart. You can edit the quantity and price of each product that you’ve added, as well as add a description.

Step 7: Setting Up a Shipping Method

Once you’ve added all of the products that you want to sell, you’ll need to set up a shipping method. This is a way for you to determine how your products will be delivered to your customers. Click on the Shipping tab and then click on the Add New button. Methods tab.

In this example, we’re going to add a shipping fee of $3.50.

Step 13: Adding the Shipping Method to the Shipping Methods Page

You can now see the shipping method that you’ve added to your shopping cart in the Shipping Methods section. You can add more shipping methods to your store by clicking on the Shipping Methods tab.

Step 14: Adding a Tax Rate

In this tutorial, we’re going to add a tax rate of 8% to our shipping method.

You can now see the tax rate that you’ve added to your shipping method.

Step 16: Adding an Order Status

You can now change the status of your order to a certain point in the process.

Step 17: Changing the Order Status to Processing

In this tutorial, we’re going to change the status of our order to Processing.
